French giants have Liverpool forward on radar as Manchester United circle own strikers

Paris Saint-Germain are considering a move for Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino, according to Spanish publication Fichajes.net.

Fichajes.net reports that Laurent Blanc is a big fan of the Brazilian, who joined Liverpool from Hoffenheim for £29m last summer.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani could both leave PSG, and Blanc wants to rebuild his strike force around Firmino, Fichajes.net adds.

The Mirror have tipped Manchester United to move for Ibrahimovic, whose contract with the Ligue 1 champions expires at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, ESPN claim that the Red Devils are plotting a bid for Cavani after the Uruguayan’s representatives approached United officials.

Firmino started his Liverpool career slowly but has been in excellent form since the turn of the year, scoring five goals in six Premier League games.

The Reds would likely be very reluctant to allow the versatile 24-year-old to leave as he appears to be in line for a crucial role under Jurgen Klopp.
