Man United managed to pull off one of their biggest wins of the season by beating Arsenal without the services of several starters. With the team surging behind teenage forward Marcus Rashford, the Red Devils are about to get a whole lot healthier now that a top-five finish is in sight.
According to the Metro, striker Anthony Martial and starting defender Matteo Darmian are expected to be back in the lineup for their match against Watford at Old Trafford on Wednesday. Martial missed the last week of football due to an injury he suffered in warmups while Darmian is back from a lengthier spell.
Man United beat Arsenal 3-2 over the weekend thanks to a brace from Rashford and another solid performance from Memphis Depay.
Prior to his injury, Martial was the designated forward in place of the still-injured Wayne Rooney. But with Rashford on a hot streak after scoring four goals in his first two appearances for the Red Devils, it remains to be seen whether Louis van Gaal chooses between the French starlet and Rashford to start – or if he decides to move Martial back to winger.
