Spurs were beaten 1-0 by West Ham in a London derby today, and it was arguably the worst they have played all season.
Here’s a look at how Spurs stars performed on an individual basis:
GK: Hugo Lloris 5.5/10
Should have done much, much better with the opening goal and looked a bit low on confidence thereafter. Distribution was poor throughout.
RB: Kieran Trippier 5/10
Payet ran rings around him all night and his passing was largely poor.
CB: Toby Alderweireld 6/10
Couldn’t get to grips with West Ham’s big man Emenike. Possibly lucky not to see red after countless fouls.
CB: Kevin Wimmer 5/10
Should have been sent off, and only some poor officiating from Andre Marriner saved him.
LB: Ben Davies 5.5/10
Lanzini had him struggling throughout. Consistently looked too exposed when West Ham put him under pressure.
CM: Erik Dier 6.5/10
One of Spurs’ better players. Wasn’t competitive enough in the first half, but improved immeasurably in the second 45.
CM: Ryan Mason 6.5/10
Like Dier, he was much better after the break. Seriously lacked any kind of final product, however.
AMR: Nacer Chadli 5/10
Beaten in the air for West Ham’s opener, and struggled to find any real rhythm in the final third.
AMC: Christian Eriksen 5/10
Anonymous performance from Spurs’ creator-in-chief. Needs to improve if Spurs are to challenge for the title.
AML: Erik Lamela 5.5/10
One of the only Spurs players to start well, but faded badly as time wore on.
ST: Harry Kane 6/10
Badly missed Spurs best chance of the game, but won a few important aerial duels.

SUBS
Dele Ali – 61 mins: 5/10
Ali never got in the game after replacing Chadli. Looks like a player who needs a couple of weeks of rest.
Heung-Min Son – 70 mins: 5.5/10
Came on for Lamela. Caused some confusion in the West Ham box once or twice, but never really threatened.
Tom Carroll – 77 mins: 5/10
Barely touched the ball.
