Transfer news: Arsenal chase another nobody, Chelsea linked with striker, Liverpool & United want wonderkid

March isn’t the best month for transfer news, but there is plenty of the stuff in the air right now. Here’s the best of it…

World champions Barcelona have made Leicester City playmaker Riyad Mahrez their no.1 target, with a £15m bid in the pipeline, so say The Sun.

Meanwhile, Manchester United, who are 13 points below Leicester in the Premier League, are preparing a move for 26-year-old Bayer Leverkusen defender Omer Toprak, according to German publication Kicker.

The Daily Mail report that PSG forward Edinson Cavani will be target by Chelsea this summer, as long as Antonio Conte gets the manager’s job at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are NOT being linked with 18-year-old Danish wonderkid Emre Mor, but almost every one of their rivals are. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and United want the teenage midfielder, according to the Mail.

The least believable rumour doing the rounds comes courtesy of Football Insider, who claim that Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils are keeping tabs on West Ham United’s Michail Antonio.

And the most believable comes from the Daily Star. They say 20-year-old Reading midfielder Aaron Kuhl, who is currently on loan at Dundee United, could end up at Arsenal this summer. Why not!? He’s probably within Arsene Wenger’s budget!
