Stats: Arsenal loss in FA Cup is first of its kind in 14 years

Arsenal fans typically see their club do well when they buy tickets to Emirates Stadium. Unfortunately, today’s 2-1 FA Cup loss to Watford may have been the most frustrating to bear witness to in years. They gave up two goals in the second half and were eliminated from the FA Cup tournament after winning the tournament the previous two years in a row.

The home loss comes on the heels of another brutal loss at the Emirates to lowly Swansea City at home. And of course the Gunners also find themselves on the brink of Champions League elimination down 2-0 to Barcelona before they head into Camp Nou this week.

According to stats by Squawka, the Arsenal loss to Watford was their third home loss in a row – their first three-game home losing streak since 2002.

During the home streak Arsenal have been outscored 6-2.

Arsenal’s next home match will be a rematch with Watford on April 2nd.
