Two European giants lining up Arsenal superstar if contract negotiations stall

The Mirror is reporting that Arsenal face a battle to keep Alexis Sanchez this summer as Juventus and Atletico Madrid begin to circle the Chilean attacker.

Juventus are particularly keen on the 27-year-old and are monitoring the progress of his contract negotiations with the Gunners, according to The Mirror.

Sanchez joined Arsenal from Barcelona for £35m in 2014, and the Old Lady would be willing to pay that fee to bring him back to Serie A, The Mirror understands.

The Premier League club are eager for the former Udinese forward, who has 36 goals in 85 games for Arsenal, to sign on at the Emirates for the next four years.

But The Mirror claims that Juventus have Sanchez high on their transfer wish-list and will go for him at the end of the season if talks over his Arsenal future stall.

The Mirror adds that Atletico are also fans of Sanchez, but Arsene Wenger is intent on keeping the South American despite recent reports of unrest between the two.
