Chinese government to offer €75m for superstar hitman linked to Arsenal

According to reports in Italy, the Chinese government are willing to offer Zlatan Ibrahimovic €75 million to move to the CSL in the summer.

The Paris Saint-Germain hitman is coming to the end of his current deal at the Parc des Princes, and despite noises on the part of the club to suggest that he will be offered a new contract, no new terms have been forthcoming.

As such, the superstar hitman—who currently leads the Ligue 1 scoring charts with 27 goals in just 25 outings this season—looks set to become one of the most sought-after free agents on the market.

Despite being 34, he has been linked with a move to Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger understood to be considering a move for the frontman.

However, the Gunners face competition from China, with La Repubblica—as per Sport—revealing that the Chinese government are so intent on bringing the Swedish international to the Chinese Super League, that they’re prepared to offer him €75 million per year to join the likes of Gervinho, Jackson Martinez and Ezequiel Lavezzi in the Far East.

The attacker has also been linked with a move back to former club AC Milan.
