Man City & Manchester United saving up for major €190m transfer raid for Barcelona superstar

According to reports in Spain, both Manchester United and Manchester City are raising funds ahead of a proposed transfer raid for Barcelona‘s Neymar.

Fichajes report that Barca are confident that the Brazil superstar will be renewing his contract at the Camp Nou.

However, should talks fall through, with the attacker deciding that his future lies away from Catalonia, both United and City are understood to be saving up in order to try and tempt the forward to the Premier League.

The striker has had problems with legal problems in recent months, and in light of his economic setbacks, Fichajes note that he’s tempted by the earning potential of playing in England.

Neymar has an eye-watering €190 million buyout clause at Barca, and while it’s an astonishing fee, the report states that either club would be willing to spend big in order to sign the truly world-class operator.

The 24-year-old has scored 21 goals and contributed 10 assists in La Liga so far this season.
