Leicester City star N’Golo Kante gets Ranieri’s blessing to join Arsenal or Chelsea

Next to Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez, Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante has been a huge factor in the club’s rise to the top of the table. Between his superb defending abilities and accurate passing, Kante has been the breakout superstar of the 2015-16 season and could be set for a massive payday from a top club.

According to the Metro, Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri has conceded that if Kante finds that he is not happy with the Foxes at the end of the season then he could be allowed to leave and pursue a megadeal elsewhere. Per the source, Kante has been subject of major interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Serie A giants Juventus.

‘I think he should rest here. He is working very well. But if some big teams arrive who give us a lot of big money, maybe we can think about it,’ Ranieri said.

‘If he is not happy here and wants to go, I don’t want sad people here. I want happy people. He is always smiling. It is speculation and now our focus is on the pitch. After is another season.’

Kante joined Leicester in a transfer deal from the tiny French club Caens before the start of the season. He has been so impressive for the Foxes that he earned his first ever caps for France in their March friendlies, scoring his first ever international goal in a 4-2 win over Russia.
