LEAKED: Footage emerges of Klopp’s motivational tekkers ahead of Liverpool vs. Tottenham

Priceless footage has emerged of Liverpool‘s German coach Jurgen Klopp attempting to motivate his Reds ahead of their Saturday showdown against Tottenham Hotspur.

In the clip, captured by @MrBoywunder [via sport1], Klopp is seen overseeing a close-contact drill at Liverpool’s Melwood training ground.

The German coach keeps a beady eye on the proceedings, offering words of encouragement to some of his players as they seek to impress.

“Very good, Dejan,” he roars at one point, addressing Croatian centre-back Lovren, before warmly congratulating—presumably—Simon Mignolet, with a hearty “very good, Simon,” following an unexpected moment of quality from the Belgian stopper.

Klopp appears very calm even though his Liverpool side face a major test on Saturday when they face title-hunting Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

The two sides drew 0-0 when they met in the EPL earlier in the campaign, and while the Reds will enjoy home support, Spurs have the momentum—having won their last two matches.

Liverpool were defeated 3-2 by Southampton in their final match before the international break, and Klopp may well have one eye on his side’s upcoming Europa League quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund.
