One of the last players added to the Borussia Dortmund academy before Jurgen Klopp left the team was American midfielder Christian Pulisic. The 17-year-old ace made his debut with the club in 2016 under Klopp’s replacement Thomas Tuchel and has been impressing scouts in Germany and abroad.

According to Bleacher Report, Pulisic is being scouted by Klopp for about 12 months ahead of a possible transfer move for the teenager. Pulisic earned his first start for Dortmund against Bayer Leverkusen in February and has made seven appearances for the Bundesliga giants this season.

Pulisic scored 20 goals in 34 appearances for the United States Under-17 squad and became the third-youngest player in USMNT history to be capped. He made his senior team debut as a second-half substitute in a World Cup Qualifying match vs Guatemala on March 29, 2016.

Among the many Dortmund players being scouted by Liverpool are Pulisic, Marco Reus, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mats Hummels and Ilkay Gundogan.
