Real Madrid make £63m Chelsea & Man United transfer target available

Back in 2014 Real Madrid made one of the most expensive transfer moves in history by paying £63 million to AS Monaco for Colombian winger James Rodriguez. Two years later though, Los Blancos have come down with a serious case of buyer’s remorse and appear ready to offload the young attacker.

According to the Metro, Real Madrid have transfer listed James Rodriguez in light of the 24-year-old winger’s alleged falling-out with manager Zinedine Zidane. Rodriguez has been a heavily sought after target by both Chelsea and Manchester United.

This season Rodriguez has scored five La Liga goals in 19 appearances and six goals in 24 total competitions. Last year he was significantly more productive, scoring 13 league goals and 17 total goals en route to La Liga Team of the Season honors.

For his performance in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Rodriguez won the Golden Boot with six goals and two assists in 399 minutes, beating out Thomas Muller and Neymar for the honor.
