Leaked footage has emerged of Cristiano Ronaldo being humiliated by teammate Danilo during a Real Madrid training session.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Portuguese superstar is not happy with being outsmarted by Danilo, who cheekily beat him with a nutmeg during a game of piggy in the middle.
Danilo—using presumably a fair tactic during the intense drill—played a one-touch blind pass through the legs of CR7 in order to beat the forward and, potentially, show him up front of his teammates.
Whatever the defender’s intentions, Ronnie didn’t see the funny side, and turned to face his colleague before gesturing menacingly in his direction.
While it’s never truly advised to show up a veteran, particularly one with Ronaldo’s standing.
Perhaps there’s a rational excuse for the forward’s grumpiness—perhaps he’s still fuming about Real’s 2-0 defeat by Wolfsburg in the Champions League in midweek—or maybe he’s still disappointed that Los Merengues are six points behind rivals Barcelona in La Liga.
Either way, it looks like Danilo’s bearing the brunt!
