It takes a lot of hard work to squander a 2-0 lead, even harder to do so when West Ham forward Andy Carroll is the one taking all of the shots. But where there’s a will, there’s a way and even the most diehard Arsenal fans often concede that the team will find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
A hat trick from Andy Carroll erased Arsenal’s lead against West Ham United and promptly drew the anticipated ‘doom and gloom’ reactions from fans who are ready to pull the plug on the team.
The Gunners managed to equalize thanks to a rare goal from Laurent Koscielny, but not before fans left a few wonderful Twitter nuggets made their way into the social mediascape.
We are so totally pulling an #Arsenal today. Please Arsene, tell us more about the team’s mentality. https://t.co/p3b8GqC4Nv

OK that’s it, losing and we bring on Ramsey. Wenger doesn’t have a clue anymore. #WHUvAFC #Arsenal #afc

#Wenger: ‘as long as it’s mathematically possible’ #WengerOut #Arsenal — JBO (@11jbo) April 9, 2016
This is absolute cataclysmic uselessness. Totally unimaginable. And very very predictable. Why am I not surprised? #Arsenal

But of course, no amount of Twitter reaction would be complete without getting the two cents of infamous Arsenal “fan” and talking head Piers Morgan:
This is so sickeningly predictable. It will NEVER change until we change the manager. #WengerOut — Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) April 9, 2016
Same as I’ve said for 7 years: Wenger Out. https://t.co/zNiNQwuoBP
