Journalist: Chelsea ace heading to Real Madrid for just £32m

Eden Hazard‘s poor performance for Chelsea this season has hurt not only his reputation as one of Europe’s top midfielders, but also his transfer value for the Blues. Though he is still a highly valued commodity, his value appears to have plummeted and a transfer deal with Real Madrid for Hazard may not yield nearly as high of a return if recent reports are correct.

According to journalist Eduardo Inda in a report for OkDiaro, Chelsea already have a deal in place with the La Liga giants for the reigning Premier League Player of the Year for just £32 million – far less than the estimated £50 million the Blues were seeking.

Hazard scored 14 Premier League goals and added nine assists en route to the league title. He also scored three goals and two assists in the Champions League before elimination in the Round of 16.

This year, however, Hazard has failed to score at all in 35 competitions between the Premier League and Champions League for Chelsea. He notched a grand total of three assists between the two competitions and has been inactive over the last few weeks.
