In a very rare showing from Manchester City scoring machine Sergio Aguero, the Argentine striker committed a rare miss on a penalty kick during one of the biggest matches of his career.
During the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain, Aguero lined up to take the penalty kick after Kevin De Bruyne was fouled by the PSG stopper. But in a rare mistake, his shot went a yard wide of the post rolled harmlessly away to preserve the 2-2 aggregate tie.

Aguero’s bad luck continued in the minutes that followed. Shortly afterwards he was kneed in the stomach by a PSG defender, and right after that he would land awkwardly on his left leg during a header chance and was forced off the field temporarily.
Fans were quick to climb on Aguero for showing such a susceptibility to injury, having missed multiple games this season with various leg ailments.
