Barcelona superstar Neymar reportedly faces a La Liga ban after appearing to slap Valencia defender Antonio Barragan following their 2-1 defeat at the Camp Nou last night.
As the below video shows, Barragan was celebrating a huge Valencia win with a couple of his teammates when a petulant Neymar reached over and clipped the Spaniard on the side of his face.
Neymar was outnumbered and quick to retreat, but Spanish outlet Marca claims that the beef between the two carried into the tunnel as the Brazilian threw a water bottle at Barragan.
The incident was not seen by referee David Fernandez Borbalan, but was caught on television replays and Goal.com reports that Neymar could now face a suspension for his actions.
This would be a blow to Barcelona, who have suffered three successive defeats to reopen the La Liga title race to Real and Atletico Madrid, who now only trail on head-to-head record.
