Chelsea are willing to offer Antoine Griezmann a big-money deal in a bid to persuade him to leave Atletico Madrid in the summer, according to The Mirror.

The Mirror reports that the Blues are refusing to give up on the France international despite the fact that they will not be playing in next season’s Champions League.

Griezmann has scored 29 goals this season, including two in the quarter-final second-leg win over Barcelona to help Atletico into the Champions League last four.

Diego Simeone’s side are also level on points with Barcelona at the top of La Liga and stand a good chance of winning a second domestic title in four seasons.

Chelsea have little to offer Griezmann, 25, other than money, and The Mirror understands that Stamford Bridge bosses are prepared to hand him a lucrative deal.

The Mirror adds that Chelsea will allow Radamel Falcao, Loic Remy and Alexandre Pato to leave in order to free up the wages to pay Griezmann a monster salary.
