Tottenham Hotspur ace named PFA Young Player of the Year

It has been a phenomenal season for Tottenham Hotspur on the whole, but aside from star striker Harry Kane the hero of the Spurs season has been midfielder Dele Alli, who added the PFA Young Player of the Year award to his list of accomplishments this season.

Alli has recorded 10 goals and nine assists for the Spurs this season, and has been crucial to the team’s rise to second-place on the table. As of writing, Alli and the Spurs need just three points to clinch a spot in the Champions League.

During the 2014-15 season the White Hart Lane outfit signed him for just £5 million from Milton Keynes Dons, but he did not make his debut with the Spurs starting XI until this season – a debut that went remarkably well.

The 20-year-old midfielder was also named to the 2015-16 Premier League Team of the Year, joining his Spurs teammate Harry Kane on the 11-man lineup.
