Video: West Brom 0-2 West Ham – Dimitri Payet assists a goal at The Hawthorns

Tally up another goal on Dimitri Payet‘s remarkable season at West Ham United as the French attacker added another assist for the Hammers, this time at The Hawthorns against West Bromwich Albion.

Payet delivered a perfect cross to Cheikhou Kouyate, who promptly headed it in past the West Brom goalkeeper to give West Ham a 1-0 lead.

The assist for Payet gave him his ninth contributed goal in the last 10 Premier League games, and his 10th assist of the season to go along with nine goals.

Earlier this month Payet was named to the PFA Team of the Year and was a finalist for the PFA Player of the Year award, ultimately losing out to Leicester City attacker Riyad Mahrez.

A win today for West Ham would keep them in the race with Manchester United for what would likely be a trip to the Europa League group stage. Unfortunately, The Champions League will be out of reach for the Hammers if Arsenal and Man City each get four points in the last three weeks of the season.

Shortly before halftime, Mark Noble added a second goal thanks to an assist from Kouyate to make the score West Brom 0-2 West Ham United.
