So, Swansea City have decided to turn up this week then…

Francesco Guidolin’s side are 2-0 up at half time against Liverpool at the Liberty Stadium, thanks to Andre Ayew’s opener and this delightful finish from Jack Cork.

Cork capitalised on the space afforded to him to run unchallenged to the edge of the box, and score his first Premier League goal in over a year with a superb bending shot.

This performance comes a week too late for Tottenham Hotspur fans, who must be fuming that Swansea actually seem to be trying today after rolling over for Leicester City.

The Welsh outfit seemed to have their minds on the beach last Sunday as the Foxes moved a step closer to the most unlikely Premier League title triumph with a 4-0 rout.

Spurs will hope that Manchester United apply themselves like this weekend’s Swansea, rather than last weekend’s, when they host Leicester at Old Trafford this afternoon.

A win for Claudio Ranieri’s side will secure them the title.
