There comes a time in almost every man’s life when the stress or pressure gets to them and he acts in strange ways. But sometimes a man simply has the pleasure of being Louis van Gaal and those kinds of things come naturally to him – just as it did in a bizarre post-match interview following the Man United boss’s 1-1 draw with would-be champions Leicester City.
Apparently not content to simply describe the concept of hair pulling as it pertained to midfielder Marouane Fellaini after having his hair pulled by Leicester defender Robert Huth during the match, Louis van Gaal actually reached out and grabbed the hair of off-screen reporter Geoff Schreeves with his own giant hands and demonstrated it for the world to see:
In fairness to Louis van Gaal, he’s spot on. Geoff Shreeves DOES have shorter hair than Marouane Fellaini. FACT! https://t.co/1Xk5wVBxFN

‘It is a normal reaction,’ Van Gaal said.
‘When I grab your hair…’ he said as he pulled Shreeves’ hair, ‘Your hair is much shorter.’
Even for Louis van Gaal what he did just there was extremely unusual. Then again, we probably should have taken the hint that he wasn’t all there upstairs when he did this just a few minutes earlier:
Never change Louis, never change.
