As reported by The Daily Star, the Belgian international has been linked with a £31m move to Stamford Bridge this summer, and for several months he has consistently been named as being one of Antonio Conte’s major signings.

It didn’t appear to distract him too much on Sunday though, as he scored his sixth goal of the season with Antonio Rudiger and Miralem Pjanic adding two more as Luciano Spalletti’s side march on in their pursuit of second spot.

The Giallorossi are unbeaten in their last 15 games, winning 12 of those, as they continue to show signs of being able to launch a sustained Scudetto assault next season.

Roma will hope that Nainggolan forms an important part of that plan, but time will tell as to whether a move to England could be too good for him to turn down.

Meanwhile, the home supporters were given a treat late on as Francesco Totti provided Miralem Pjanic with this perfect assist in what could be his final home game for the club.

While the suggestion is that he will sign a contract extension with his current deal set to expire this summer, it remains to be seen whether or not an official announcement swiftly follows the end of the season.

As for Pjanic, he has also been linked with a switch to Chelsea, as reported by Sky Sports, but again, Roma will be desperate to avoid losing any of their key players this summer.
