Philippe Coutinho cleaned up at Liverpool’s end-of-season awards as he took home four prizes.
The Brazilian playmaker was named Players’ Player of the Season and Player of the Year, and was awarded Goal of the Season and Best Performance of the Season at the club’s ceremony on Thursday.
Coutinho was making regular trips to the stage, and his Reds teammate Alberto Moreno cheekily captured the moment that Coutinho’s Europa League strike against Manchester United was honoured.
Moreno is developing a reputation for being a bit of a character off the pitch. We are not too sure about his camerawork, or what he is saying, but Coutinho seemed to find it funny and so did we!
We are looking forward to what the Spaniard has to offer on Liverpool’s open-top bus parade, if the Reds are triumphant against Moreno’s former club Sevilla in the Europa League final next Wednesday.
