Crafty Real Madrid buy back €60m striker, force bidding war between Arsenal, Chelsea & PSG

Real Madrid are well-aware of the value striker Alvaro Morata has gained during his two years with Juventus. Knowing full-well that rich clubs are willing to pay an arm and a leg for the Spanish striker, the Champions League finalists are bringing him back to Spain just long enough to cash in on everyone else’s interest – including Arsenal and Chelsea.

According to the Daily Mirror, Real Madrid are going to trigger the buy-back clause in Morata’s Juventus contract to return him to the Bernabeu – only to sell him at a markup to the highest bidder. Per the source, the clubs most interested in landing Morata are Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Man United and Man City.

Morata has 15 goals in two seasons for Juventus and was named to the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season for the Serie A giants’ 2014-15 campaign. That year he scored a career-high 15 goals.

The 23-year-old Spanish striker is reportedly the subject of a record-breaking deal from Arsenal in the area of €60 million.
