Barcelona see €90m bid rejected by Serie A giants for star forward

Barcelona have reportedly had a €90m offer for Juventus star Paulo Dybala rejected by the Turin giants, who have no intention of selling.

The Argentine forward has enjoyed a stellar first year with the Bianconeri, scoring 19 goals in 34 Serie A appearances to help the club to a fifth consecutive Scudetto.

Having added the Coppa Italia to their trophy cabinet at the weekend, Juve will be hoping to go from strength to strength next season and build on their domestic success by also conquering Europe.

In order to do that, they will want to keep hold of all of their influential stars, including Dybala, and that has seen them reject the substantial bid from Barcelona, according to Tuttosport, as noted by Football Italia.

The Serie A champions have insisted that they have no intention of selling and that the 22-year-old doesn’t want to leave, thus seemingly ending speculation over whether or not he could move on this summer.

Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have also all been paired with an interest in recent months, but it looks as though they will all be left disappointed with Dybala seen as an important part of Juve’s future.

Having initially impressed at Palermo, the Argentine international has proven that he is more than capable of delivering on the big stage, and will be eyeing further progress and development next year.
