Liverpool are understood to be readying a hefty bid to bring Dinamo Zagreb wonderkid Ante Coric to Anfield.

According to Croatian source Sportske Novosti, the Reds are keep on the forward, and are primed to make a big-money €15 million offer in order to secure his services.

After contacting a local insider, the report reveals that while the Merseyside giants are particularly keen on signing Coric, they face competition from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, with sources on the ground confirming their interest in the player.

However, Sportske Novosti report that the Anfield heavyweights lead the race for the attacker, with Jurgen Klopp having identified the youngster as a potential key component of his ‘new Liverpool’.

Indeed, not only has the German coach—who took Liverpool to the final of the Europa League this season, only to fall short at the final hurdle—admired Coric from afar, the report notes that he has already made contact with the player and begun to discuss a proposed visit to Merseyside.
