Zlatan Ibrahimovic appeared to give the biggest indication yet that he could be moving to Manchester United, and it went down well with supporters.
The 34-year-old was speaking at a press conference as he prepares for Euro 2016 with the Swedish national team.
Asked about a possible deal with United, the current Paris Saint-Germain forward grinned before eventually replying: “Let’s see what happens”.
While it was short of an admission that he is set for a reunion with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, it was a big indication that perhaps it is a done deal.
In turn, some United fans were pretty happy with the news and reacted on Twitter, while one cheeky chappy from a Swedish media outlet tried to get his Ibrahimovic shirt sorted early.
Ibra is 100% coming. “Have you had an offer from Manchester United?” Ibra massive grin… “Let’s see what happens.” #mufc
