As one of the most dominating midfielders of the 2015-16 season, Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante has earned the interest of multiple top clubs in England and the rest of Europe after his contributions to the team’s miracle Premier League title campaign. Yet despite rumours that Kante was going to leave King Power Stadium for the first decent club to trigger his release clause, the man himself seems content to stay with the Foxes.

According to NBC Sports via L’Equipe, Kante clarified his position at Leicester City, stating that he’s happy with the Premier League champions and not paying attention to rumours and speculation.

“For now, I am happy at Leicester,” Kante said. “I do not pay too much attention to everything that is said.”

Kante was named to the PFA Team of the Year for the 2015-16 season after a remarkable season as the team’s starting central midfielder. His passing and tackling were among the best in the league and he played in 37 of 38 games for the club in his first year in England.

Arsenal, Man City and Real Madrid have all been linked with a move for Kante.
