Gifted £23.5m winger from Champions League giants close to Chelsea move

Chelsea have a lot of important decisions to make this summer if they want to get back to their winning ways. Luckily, they could have prized winger Yacine Brahimi fall into their laps very soon.

According to O Jogo [per the Metro], Chelsea are in the midst of talks with Porto about bringing Brahimi to Stamford Bridge this season. Per the source, a deal is close and an announcement could be made in the next few days.

Porto are believed to be seeking a £23.5 million transfer fee – but may be tempted to part ways with the Algerian winger for roughly half of that.

Brahimi’s last two years with Porto have been among the best of his career, with 14 goals in 61 Primeira Liga appearances.

The Blues have not made any significant transfer moves just yet, but have been tipped to make significant roster changes this summer after failing to qualify for the Champions League or Europa League. New manager Antonio Conte will not even arrive at Stamford Bridge until after he finishing coaching Italy in Euro 2016.
