What does the future hold for Chelsea midfielder Nathan?
The Blues will be getting back a significant number of players back from loan spells in the coming weeks after sending dozens out for experience this past year. Unfortunately for Nathan, he won’t be staying at Stamford Bridge long.
According to the Metro via Chelsea’s official website, the 20-year-old Brazilian starlet will be heading back to Eredivisie for another loan spell with Vitesse Arnhem next season and will not make his much-anticipated Chelsea debut.
Nathan was one of over three dozen players Chelsea sent out on loan last season and spent the entire 2015-16 campaign with the Dutch outfit. He scored twice in 18 appearances for the club but made only four starts.
On the international level, Nathan has featured heavily for Brazil’s highly-touted Under-20 team. In 14 caps for the side he has three goals. He signed for Chelsea in May 2015 for a reported £4.5 million fee.
