Chelsea super duo hope £35m superstar makes Stamford Bridge switch

International duty has always been an opportunity for players to scout out their countrymen and see if they’d be good fits for their respective teams. In the case of Chelsea/Belgium midfielder Eden Hazard, one particular Belgian player with Stamford Bridge links is worth pounding the table for the club to sign.

In an interview on Sunday before Belgium takes on Italy this Monday, Hazard said that he thinks Radja Nainggolan is one of the best players in the world and hopes Nainggolan will join him and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge next season.

‘I think Radja Nainggolan is one of the best in the world, so with Thibaut Courtois we’d love him to come to Chelsea,’ Hazard said at a Sunday presser, per the Metro.

‘Of course, it doesn’t depend on us.’

Nainggolan has made over 200 appearances and scored 20 goals for Roma since his 2009-10 move from Piacenza. He will reportedly require a bid of around £35 million to seal a move.

Back in May though, Nainggolan recommitted to Roma, stating he didn’t want to leave the Serie A giants amidst interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.
