Twitter: Former Southampton ace trolls Ronald Koeman after Everton switch

Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc has slammed Ronald Koeman after the Dutchman’s switch from Southampton to Everton was confirmed on Tuesday.

Boruc was at St Mary’s between 2012 and 2015 before moving to Eddie Howe’s side having been deemed surplus to requirements by the 53-year-old, and had some choice words for Koeman as he used previous quotes from the manager against him.

It hasn’t yet been verified that the new Everton boss in fact made those comments, but Boruc either seems to think so, or has used it as a way of slating him for leaving Southampton in favour of a move to Goodison Park.

Koeman’s exit from the club will be a blow considering the progress that they made under his stewardship, finishing in sixth place in the Premier League last season despite losing more of their stars the previous summer.

Boruc isn’t going to be the only one left disappointed by the switch, but it would probably perhaps be wise to ensure that the quotes are in fact from Koeman himself before using them against him.
