Rejoice (or jeer) Chelsea fans: Eden Hazard won’t be leaving any time soon if he has anything to say about it.
According to The Sun, Hazard made it clear that he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge next season despite rumours that he is listening to offers from Real Madrid and other major powers.
“We experienced some very beautiful things together in 2015. This year was less good.
“But I have recovered from that and I want to stay at Chelsea.
“I like London and I have a couple of years left on my contract.”
Hazard was the 2014-15 Premier League Player of the Season after leading Chelsea to Premier League and League Cup titles, but endured a brutal follow-up season as the Blues endured one of the worst failed title defenses in BPL history.
