The fixtures for the 2016/17 Premier League season have been announced with a whole host of fascinating clashes to kick off the new campaign.

A number of changes have taken place this summer, with Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola entering the title race this coming season.

Given their rivalry during their days at Real Madrid and Barcelona, Mourinho and Guardiola won’t have to wait long to renew hostilities as their new clubs cross paths on September 10 in the first Manchester derby of the season.

The return fixture at the Etihad is on February 25, 2017, while there are countless other top fixtures to look out for.

Leicester City get their title defence underway at promoted Hull City on August 13, while United face Bournemouth, City take on Sunderland and Conte will have to prepare for a London derby immediately as his Chelsea side face West Ham United.

Mourinho’s first trip back to Stamford Bridge will be on October 22, while United will take on Tottenham on May 13 in the last game at White Hart Lane

There are no surprises over which opening-day game will grab all the headlines though, as it sees Arsenal host Liverpool at the Emirates in what should be a thrilling encounter to kick off the new Premier League season.

Nevertheless, the Gunners have been handed a tough start to the campaign, as they will take on Liverpool, Leicester and Chelsea in their first six games, while United will face Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal in their last six..

Guardiola will face a real test over the Christmas period with games against Chelsea, Leicester, Watford, Arsenal, Hull City and Liverpool in December, while it’s a tough start on the road for Jurgen Klopp who will take his Liverpool side away to Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea in their first three away games of the campaign.
