With a major roster exodus expected at Everton, the new club hierarchy are working tirelessly to ensure that star striker Romelu Lukaku stays right where he is.

According to ESPN, Lukaku is going to be offered a brand new deal at the end of Euro 2016 to fend off interest from the multitude of top clubs vying for his signature – with reportedly Chelsea leading the pack.

Per the source, Lukaku is eager to leave Goodison Park and join up with a Champions League contender. The Belgian striker has not appeared in the Champions League since his teenage years with Anderlecht.

Lukaku finished fourth in the Premier League in scoring this past year with a career-high 18 goals and 25 in all competitions for the Toffees. He has 93 career league goals from Anderlecht, Chelsea, West Brom and Everton.

The 23-year-old striker has also been capped 45 times for Belgium and has 12 goals.
