Liverpool have hit a snag in their pursuit of Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marko Pjaca as the Croatian club have rejected their bid.

According to the Metro, Liverpool’s £12 million bid for Pjaca has been rejected by Dinamo Zagreb.

Per the source, Inter Milan and AS Roma have also expressed interest in the 21-year-old Croatian midfielder.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, even though Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has worked very well with young players in the past, Dinamo Zagreb may be holding out for a larger bid from the Reds.

Pjaca has scored 26 goals in his last 90 matches across all competitions for Dinamo Zagreb. In the 2014-15 season he set a career-high with 11 goals and helped the team with the Croatian First Football League title as well as the Croatian Football Cup. This past year he scored eight goals and the club won a second league title.

On the international level, Pjaca has been capped 10 times and scored his first goal for the Croatian national team this year.
