(Video) Jerome Boateng scores stunner for Germany! Where was that at Man City?

Jerome Boateng is one of the best centre-backs on the planet these days.

The 27-year-old is a key man for 2014 World Cup winners Germany and 2013 club world champions Bayern Munich.

And Boateng again proved his worth for his country this afternoon – by scoring a stunning opener for Germany in their last-16 Euro 2016 clash with Slovakia.

Boateng looks a completely different player to the lad who was bombed out by Manchester City after just one season in 2011.

City used Boateng as a full-back. He even played in midfield once for the Premier League side.

However, despite being used in a more attacking position than he is now, Boateng never scored for City in 24 games.
