After going uncapped for Spain in Euro 2016 – with Vincente del Bosque favoring David de Gea – longtime goalkeeper Iker Casillas appears to be hinting at the end of his career in international football.
Taking to Twitter the morning after Spain fell 2-0 to Italy in the Euro 2016 knockout round, Casillas posted a video of a famous scene from Rambo along with a message to his fans – seemingly hinting that his time with Spain was over.

Casillas is the most capped player in Spain’s history by a wide margin, with his 167 caps easily topping Sergio Ramos’ 136.
In an international career that first started in 2000, Casillas won countless individual accolades but most notably was the man in goal for Spain’s back-to-back Euro wins in 2008 and 2012 along with the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
During the 2010 World Cup, Casillas allowed just two goals in the group stage before keeping four consecutive clean sheets against Portugal, Paraguay and Germany as well as in the World Cup Final against the Netherlands.
