Paris Saint-Germain star midfielder Blaise Matuidi is close to a move to Manchester United according the French version of Goal.com.
Matuidi is currently on international duty with the France national team however, the report states that the box-to-box midfielder has been granted permission to leave the training camp and fly to the UK for talks.
Goal go onto state that Matuidi has held talks with Manchester United and that the Red Devils have set aside £20 million for the 29-year-old.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is overseeing major changes to the squad and has already signed Eric Bailly from Villarreal and Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free transfer from PSG.
The Sun newspaper report that United are also expected to complete the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund for £26.3 million.
Matuidi is set to return to the French training camp ion Monday evening as to continue preparations the Euro 2016 semi-final clash with Germany.
