As his strong performance in Euro 2016 continues to improve his stock, Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen is finding himself the subject of more bids from top-flight clubs – though the Reds are struggling to find a suitable tranding partner and may have just lost another one.

According to the Daily Star, Sevilla have pulled out of a deal with Liverpool over Joe Allen due to the £14 million price tag the Reds have placed on the Welsh star. Per the report, Sevilla are unable to pay a fee of that size at this time.

Allen has made 89 Premier League appearances and 129 total appearances for Liverpool over the past four seasons. He has been capped 28 times for Wales, including a career-high seven so far in 2016.

Sevilla defeated Liverpool in the Europa League Final to clinch a spot in the Champions League next year. Liverpool, having finished eighth in the Premier League, will not participate in any Champions League or Europa League matches next year.
