Man United superstar already tired of Manchester and its food

Anthony Martial became an immediate fan favorite among Manchester United fans after a sensational debut campaign for the team in which he led the team in scoring. However, in a recent interview the French wonderkid revealed that it quite literally hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows for him in England.

In a recent interview [per the Express], Martial was asked what he likes and dislikes about living in Manchester. He revealed that he has grown to dislike the Manchester weather as well as the local cuisine.

“Manchester weather, cooking when I’m tired and English cuisine (are on my bad-list),” Martial said.

As for the things he likes about the city though, Martial said he still loves playing football as well as spending time with his family, playing video games and watching horror movies.

Man United acquired then 19-year-old Martial from AS Monaco last summer for the largest transfer fee ever paid for a teenager. He went on to win the prestigious Golden Boy Award while earning his first caps for France and finished the season with 11 league goals and 17 total goals – both career-highs.
