Some players may dread reporting back for pre-season, but Danny Ings is clearly raring to go.
The striker missed the majority of his debut campaign at Liverpool with a cruciate ligament injury, so must be desperate to finally get his chance to impress Jurgen Klopp ahead of the new season.
And the 23-year-old was looking sharp in this training video uploaded to his Instagram account.
Liverpool fans should be excited about the prospect of having Ings back for this term. In many ways he is the perfect Klopp striker – high-energy, quick and, as you can see, a natural finisher.
But the Englishman will have a fight on his hands to get in the Reds team, with at least Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino all competing for places in Klopp’s attack.
