Lyon want £42 million for Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette according to the Daily Mail.
The report claims that the Ligue 1 side do not need to sell the striker as they already raised £21 million from Barcelona who signed Samuel Umtiti.
Lyon have named their price and revealed that they will not accept anything lower than their £42 million asking price.
The players agent David Venditelli also reportedly denied rumours that his client has a release clause option.
Arsenal are reported to have been keeping tabs on the 25-year-old for a lengthy period of time and that Wenger has personally watched him play for Lyon over the past few seasons.
The striker found the back of the net 23 times and setup four assists in 44 appearances for Lyon in all competitions last season.
Lacazette has scored 72 time in 172 appearances in total for the Lyon giants since graduating from their academy in 2010.
The 25-year-old did not however, travel with France to the European Championships this summer after being left out by Didier Deschamps.
