Turkish giants join Everton in race to sign Wales Euro 2016 star

Turkish Super League giants Galatasaray have emerged as a rivals to Everton in the race to sign Hal Robson-Kanu according to the Milliyet newspaper.

The report states that Galatasaray are preparing to table a lucrative offer to fend off competition for the 27-year-old striker. Robson-Kanu is currently a free agent after he let his contract run down at Reading where he scored 30 goals in 228 appearances.

The Sun states that Everton’s newly appointed manager Ronald Koeman is also interested in signing Robson-Kanu. The daily tabloid goes onto say that the pacy striker has received offers from all over the world following his wonder goal against Belgium.

Robson-Kanu started for the Wales side which succumbed to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Portugal in the semi-finals of Euro 2016.  The former Reading striker was unable to find the back of the net and was taken off midway though the second half.

Robson-Kanu has provided seven assists and five goals in 35 appearances for Reading in all competitions this season.
