Chelsea are favourites to sign Lazio star Felipe Anderson according to the La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report claims that Lazio are willing to sell the Brazilian attacking midfielder for the right price.
Anderson recently changed his agent to Giuliano Bertolucci who has a close associate with Kia Joorabchian.
The two agents have close ties to Chelsea and Blues head coach Antonio Conte is reported to be keen on signing the 23-year-old.
Anderson did not manage to build upon his promising 2014-15 season scoring just seven times and providing four assists in 35 league games last season.
The Brazilian was closely linked with a big money move to Manchester United last season and Lazio president Claudio Lotito revealed back in January that he expected Anderson to join the Red Devils.
Lotito was quoted by Calciomercato (translated by The Express) as saying over the winter transfer window: “Felipe Anderson will move to Manchester United next season, for €60 million (which converts to just less than £47m).
“I bought Felipe Anderson for €8 million, and I’ve already sold him on for €60 million.”
Anderson will be familiar with Conte who has years of experience coaching in the Serie A and was formerly manager of Italian champions Juventus.
