Joe Hart’s position under threat as Man City boss Pep Guardiola prepares bid for Barcelona star

Joe Hart’s future at Manchester City has been called into question following reports linking Barcelona’s goalkeeper Claudio Bravo with the Citizens.

The Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo says that Guardiola is not keen on England’s number one and is looking for a replacement.

The report states that City’s newly appointed manager Guardiola is looking into the possibility of  bringing the Chile international keeper to the Premier League this summer.

Bravo, who joined Barcelona from Real Sociedad two seasons ago, won the Copa America with Chile last month.

Mundo Deportivo goes onto say that Guardiola is unsure about Joe Hart’s ability to play the ball out from the back and has further doubts following Hart’s performances at Euro 2016.

The England international was at fault at goals conceded against both Wales and Iceland.

Claudio Bravo made 32 La Liga appearances for Barcelona this season but didn’t play a single minute of UEFA Champions League football.
