Man Utd boss Mourinho keen on bringing in Chelsea star

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is preparing a move for his former pupil Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas according to the Mirror.

Mourinho is reported to be monitoring Fabregas’ situation at the club as the Spaniard is rumoured to be one of the players recently appointed manager Antonio Conte is considering cutting from the squad.

Conte reportedly wants Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan and is keen on Portugal Euro 2016 champion Joao Mario and Andre Gomes.

Fabregas was a favourite of Mourinho during his time at Chelsea and the Portuguese manager could make a bid if the experienced midfielder is transfer listed.

The Spanish international had a disappointing season but does have another two-years remaining on his contract.

Fabregas joined Chelsea form Barcelona two-years ago for £27 million and is reported to have close ties with the United boss.

United have been very active in the transfer market this summer and are closely linked with what would be a record £100 million transfer for Juventus star Paul Pogba.
