Liverpool ace linked with €4 million move to Turkish giants

Liverpool’s experinced midfielder Lucas Leiva has been linked with a move to the Turkish league side Galatasaray.

The daily sports paper AMK has states that Galatasaray’s director of football Cenk Ergun has traveled to England to hold talks with Liverpool. The report goes onto say that the Lion’s have set aside €4 million for the Brazilian international.

The Brazil international has one year remaining on his contract with Liverpool. Meanwhile the Mirror has also linked Galatasaray’s rival Besiktas with a move for Lucas.

The Mirror claims that Lucas could be on the verge of an exit from Anfield as part of head coach Jurgen Klopp’s overhaul of the squad

Besiktas came close to signing the 29-year-old on loan last year however, Liverpool’s former manager Brendan Rodgers put a stop to the move following Jordan Henderson’s injury.

TheBlack Eagles are back in the market for a central midfielder in preparation for their Champions League campaign next season. Lucas made 40 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions last season.
