The Turkish League giants Fenerbahce have been put on alert following reports stating that Manchester United have transfer listed their star midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Daily Record states that United boss Jose Mourinho is planning a massive clear out over the summer. The report says that Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind and Juan Mata are among the players United will put up for sale.
Schweinsteiger joined the Red Devils from Bayern Munich for a surprisingly low €9 million last summer. The experinced midfielder managed only 13 in the Premier League before succumbing to injury again in April.
According to the Express, Fenerbahce were planning a summer swoop for the Germany international back in March and may be tempted to table a bid now that the former Bayern Munich man is available.
Fenerbahce will be playing Champions League football next season and are currently the bookmakers favourites to win the 2016-17 title as well.
